Dr. Joe Pewitt
Senior Adult Director and Church Counselor
Joe J. Pewitt became Staff Counselor and Director of Senior Adults on January 1st, 2001. Joe has served as a staff counselor and Senior Adult Director for twelve years. He has maintained a private practice in counseling for many years and has worked as a psychotherapist in a hospital psychiatric center and a residential children's home.
Joe has degrees from the University of Missouri - Columbia and has specialized training in marriage and family counseling at the University of Southern Illinois - Edwardsville and the Alfred Adler Institute of Chicago. He is licensed as a professional counselor by the State of Missouri.
Joe is married to Marilyn since 1955 and the two share a son and daughter and four granddaughters.
