Sympathy
Our love through Christian sympathy is extended to …
Irv & Cathy Clapper
and family in the death of their sister-in-law, Jane Beckel, in Ohio;
and
to the family and friends of Opal Schaefer who passed
away October 5.
Media Center
When our church library was organized in its present
location, Gladys Yandell, then Director, asked me to join her staff to
keep the Memorial Book and take care of the Library Window. When Opal
Schaefer took Directorship, she asked me to remain. I feel privileged to
have worked with these saints of God. I would like to thank everyone who made
suggestions, loaned items, and took an interest in that very small, but
important, area. After 27 years, I am happy to just encourage our present staff
and the wonderful work they are doing.

FFBC Minor Home Repair
Do you need help with any of the following minor home
repairs: electrical, plumbing, carpentry, gutters, window glass, fire alarms,
door locks, or other odd jobs? A group of men from Fee Fee would like to help
by sharing the skills God has given them. Call the church office or Carl
Lueker at 636-447-5657. Labor is volunteer—there may be a cost for parts

please sign the flower calendar which is located on the bulletin board in the

Restaurant Offer
The IHOP Restaurant at 11237 St. Charles Rock Road has
implemented a program which offers to donate to churches 10% of net sales of
church members’ (and guests) checks at the end of each month. All that is
required of Fee Fee members is to take a Sunday bulletin or weekly newsletter
with you and present it to the cashier when you pay your check. This program is
good any day of the week. You must have one bulletin/newsletter per check for
their bookkeeping purposes. For the month of July we received a check for $66
and for the month of August, the amount was $58. Bon appetit!
Church Counselor
A reminder that Dr. Joe Pewitt provides counseling for
members of the congregation at no charge. For an appointment, please contact
Dr. Pewitt through the church office or at his home (739-9366).
